This will help you with downloading, configuring, building, installing and running Suricata on our supported platforms.

The installation guide lists the platforms we support. We do support Windows and have qualified Suricata on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008R2 and Windows Server 2012 64 bit.

Suricata is written in C and Rust. Programming knowledge of these languages is not required unless you plan to extend Suricata's functionality.

I have to run graphically and change the language of the program
And improve a little

It's already open source and no there is no GUI for it.

Can you give us more details about the university project?

Running it with a GUI and also changing the language doesn't make much sense

I want an open source graphical intrusion detection system
That's for installing just one file

And before that it's Open Source and I can make some changes

Without more details about what the reasons for the GUI are or what it should provide it's hard to help you. Suricata is open source, you can run in via the CLI and learn more about it and afterwards think about what a GUI might look like.
